The cosmetology program requires 1500 hours/40 weeks be earned to be accepted by the state licensing board for examination. The hours are broken down into the following categories:

  • Chemical Hair Relaxing and Related Theory
  • Hair Coloring and Related Theory
  • Chemical Reformation, Cold Waving, and Related Theory

If you are licensee with 2 years verifiable practioner work experience then the instructor requires only 250 hours/7 weeks.
