Cosmetology
DuVall's will give you the knowledge you need to succeed in a career as a cosmetologist.
The cosmetology program requires 1500 hours/40 weeks be earned to be accepted by the state licensing board for examination. The hours are broken down into the following categories:
- Orientation
- Salon Management and Practices
- Chemistry as Applied to Cosmetology
- Hair and Scalp Treatment and Related Theory
- Shampoos, Rinses, Conditioners, Treatments and Related Theory
- Nail Care and Procedures and Related Theory
- Skin Care Procedures and Related Theory
- Haircutting, Styling and Related Theory
- Chemical Hair Relaxing and Related Theory
- Hair Coloring and Related Theory
- Chemical Reformation, Cold Waving, and Related Theory

Learn to professionally instruct others in the fields of cosmetology or esthetics at DuVall's.
The instructor program requires 750 hours/20 weeks be earned to be accepted by the state licensing board for examination.The hours are broken down into the following categories:

- Instruction and Theory; Clinic Operation
If you are licensee with 2 years verifiable practioner work experience then the instructor requires only 250 hours/7 weeks.
